| Bio: | Hey, well, I guess this is the place where I'm supposed to talk about me. I'm currently a Grad student at the University of Auckland studying slope stability and engineering geology. I graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 2005 with a B.S. in Geological Engineering. Yeah, that makes me sound really fun doesn't it. Anyways, I'm a Colorado native, can trace my roots back to those German sugarbeet farmers who settled the area around the turn of the century. I went to elementry and middle school at a little Lutheran school and consider it to be my home church. For those of you less familiar with the many Christian denominations, Lutheranism is what I like to refer to as Catholic Lite. We're fairly easy going about how people live their day-to-day lives but we still have our old German traditions and hymns and such. I went on to a public high school in my home town, and I actually began to acquire some friends. I participated in band, theatre, speach club, cross country, and swimming. I was a member of NHS (national honor society) but I can affirm that I never really participated. I went on to college where many of my current interests and hobbies were acquired. For example, I was never really interested in geolgy until I came to school here. I also discovered the wondrousness of Cowboy Bebop (and anime in general), tabletop wargames (WH40K), and RPGs (D&D). All are interests I still actively pursue. I also participate in Karate, currently ranked at 6th Kyu (blue belt).
